FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common buyer questions.

Answers are general guidance. Commercial and technical details are confirmed in the quotation and order documents.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Starting points are 200 pieces per design/colour for most made-ups; towels and kitchen items may start at 500 pieces, hospital textiles at 500 pieces per item, and fabrics at 1,000 metres per quality/colour. These figures require owner confirmation and are confirmed per order. Lower trial quantities can be discussed.

Can you develop samples?

Typical sample timing is 7–15 days, subject to material availability and complexity. Whether a sample is chargeable is agreed before development begins.

What is the production lead time?

A planning range is 30–60 days after sample approval. Material availability, complexity, quantity, buyer approvals and production schedule affect the final lead time, which is confirmed per order.

Do you support private label?

Yes. Private-label options can include buyer-approved labels, barcodes, carton marks and retail packaging. Custom sizes can be developed against an approved size chart, subject to feasibility and order details.

What payment terms do you accept?

T/T or L/C may be discussed, but accepted payment terms must be confirmed in the quotation and agreed in writing.

Can buyers arrange inspection?

Quality checks are agreed against the approved specification. Buyers may appoint a third-party inspector if the scope, timing, access and acceptance criteria are agreed in advance; any AQL plan must also be confirmed.

Can you provide export documents?

Documentation support can include commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, shipping bill, bill of lading and test reports on request, as applicable and subject to confirmation.

Which countries do you export to?

Markets served include Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Norway, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sri Lanka and Australia. REAL IMPEX is ready to discuss export requirements for other destinations worldwide.

Which Incoterms and ports can you support?

FOB / CIF and ports such as Chennai and Tuticorin may be discussed, subject to confirmation for the specific shipment. Confirm the named port, responsibilities and terms in the quotation.

Can you work to buyer sustainability or testing requirements?

We can review buyer-specified test reports, restricted-substance requirements, certified-material requests and packaging reduction options. Availability and supporting evidence are confirmed for the specific product and partner. Certifications and test reports are shared on request when available and verified.
