MANUFACTURING PROCESS

From material choice to export shipment.

Each order follows an agreed route shaped by product type, construction, approved sample, inspection needs and destination. REAL IMPEX coordinates the process with in-house capability and partner manufacturing units.

01

Source

Review cotton, yarn or fibre choices against the intended use, target quality and cost. Count, ply, blend and origin can be specified where relevant.

Buyer controls: material brief and required origin details. We check: feasibility and alignment with the approved specification.

02

Yarn & preparation

Where applicable, yarn preparation can include spinning or sourcing, doubling, sizing and warp preparation.

Buyer controls: count, ply and blend targets. We check: preparation route and production compatibility.

03

Weave

Construction options may include plain, twill, satin/sateen, dobby, jacquard, terry and waffle. GSM and thread-count targets are set for the product.

Buyer controls: construction and performance target. We check: agreed construction and measurable specifications.

04

Dyeing & processing

Depending on the product, routes may include yarn dyeing, piece dyeing, reactive printing or bleaching. Colour can be developed through lab dips or Pantone references.

Buyer controls: shade approval and test needs. We check: shade against approved reference and agreed shrinkage / colour-fastness criteria.

05

Finishing

Finishes such as softening, calendering, soft wash, brushing or anti-wrinkle treatment can be discussed where suitable and specified.

Buyer controls: hand-feel and finish approval. We check: agreed appearance and performance requirements.

06

Cutting & stitching

Approved size charts, tolerances, seams and hems guide made-up production. Embroidery, labels, piping and prints can be included when specified.

Buyer controls: dimensions, artwork and trim approvals. We check: measurement, workmanship and trim placement.

07

Quality control

Checks can cover fabric inspection, in-line workmanship, measurements and final inspection. AQL plans and needle detection are used only where applicable and agreed.

Buyer controls: acceptance criteria and third-party inspection choice. We check: the agreed plan and recorded findings.

08

Packing

Options may include folding, polybag or box packing, barcode labels, carton marks and private-label packaging according to the buyer’s pack specification.

Buyer controls: pack format, artwork and labels. We check: packing instructions, assortment and carton marks.

09

Export & shipping

We coordinate agreed export documents, shipment preparation, port dispatch and updates with the buyer and relevant service partners.

Buyer controls: destination, Incoterm and document instructions. We check: consistency between approved order details and shipping paperwork.
